hubby's birthday dinner

Yesterday was my husband's birthday, so I took him out for dinner. We went to a restaurant I have been wanting to try for ages - The Wellington Gastropub. The food was incredible. More on that over on my page on desire to inspire. Here is what I wore (I ended up wearing a different necklace - a thin silver chain with cross made of pearls as I felt I needed something less dressy).

Batwing Top: Superfine via Shopbop
Jeans: Citizens of Humanity Avedon low rise skinny via Aritzia
Coat: F21
Boots: Fluevog's Melanie
Bag: Kate Spade via Holt Renfrew
Ring and Necklace: Aldo

  1. I was back in Ottawa over the long weekend and was able to spend some time in Westboro. I used to live off Parkdale (on Hinchey Ave) 5 years ago and I loved living there. I love my Toronto neighbourhood, but if I ever moved back to Ottawa, l'd definitely want to live in Westboro again. Love the top!

  2. Thanks!
I live in Little Italy so only a couple minutes drive from Westboro - both are my favourite 'hoods in the city. The amount of awesome restaurants along Wellington that keep popping up is going to have me going broke! Westboro is cool but unfortunately pretty expensive real estate.

    1. Now that I live in a somewhat similar neighbourhood in Toronto (Yonge & Eglinton) and own real estate here, Westboro prices seem downright cheap. ;)
