naps naps naps

I'm really looking forward to the day that Gia makes up her mind about naps. It's a coin toss these days if it's going to be one nap or two, and it's making it near impossible to make plans in advance. I am not one to stay home; I get bored being in the house and Gia does too. We thrive on being busy, and to me busy means being out of the house. It's also kind of lonely when its just the two of us day after day. We both love people, and are in much better spirits when in the company of family and friends.

So when Gia decided to sleep in today (for the third time in her little life!) I called a friend who I rarely get to see due to differences in our kids schedules, and we got together for a morning coffee. Impromptu plans are usually the most fun! So are impromptu baby outfit photo shoots!
